App updates

It would be very helpful if your software developers would send an email summarizing the changes resulting from updates to the app. Each time there's an app update, it seems as if there's something different that needs getting used to as well as glitches. In the past 8 months or so, I have gotten many complaints about how the app works - clocking in and out of jobs without prompting, notes carrying over even when this option is turned off, customer lists changing, locking people out of the app, the name of the app is Workforce but this app is referred to as QB Time on many platforms, etc.

I understand that change can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to navigating a new interface. That's why I'm here to clarify some updates regarding the product.

 

The QuickBooks Time mobile app has undergone a name change and is now called QuickBooks Workforce. It also has a new icon. We have centralized pay and tax information into one to make it easier for QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Payroll customers to access all their information with just one login.

 

Regarding the issues you're experiencing with the app, consider reviewing the device settings. This way, it can sync data to and from the web dashboard, track location, and send notifications.
