Using Enterprise 2021. Recently we are unable to sync with Quickbooks Time via the toolbar (Employees>Enter Time>Sync Quickbooks Time). When the sync time popup opens we get another popup that is a script error on this page. After clicking yes to continue running scripts, it allows to enter a username and password but then has an error "Cannot complete integration - Non-QBD flavor 'wc' is already installed".
We are able to sync using the App Management - Update Web Services - Quickbooks web connector, but this is not ideal. This process was shown to me by a Quickbooks Time rep. She mentioned that we had too many "Versions used on file" shown after hitting F2. I talked to Quickbooks rep and he said those cannot be removed. I am at a lost. Everything was working fine last week. To my knowledge there were no updates or changes.

Good morning, @dwit. It's good to see you here in the Community and thank you for all the information you provided in your post! I'm happy to help you sync with QuickBooks Desktop.
That error you're getting means the web connector add-on is still installed within QuickBooks Time. The first thing we'll want to do is uninstall the add-on. Here's how to do this:
Next, you'll go to your QuickBooks Desktop account and try to run the sync. After the error, you'll need to use the option to "Activate QB Time" from your Desktop account to set it back up. Follow the steps below:
Lastly, you'll enter in your QB Time login information, and then it'll sync. Please feel free to reply to this post if you have any questions or encounter any errors. I'm eager to get this working for you!
Hello @dwit

Thank you! I am able to stop pulling my hair out now :)
Ah yes @dwit! No more hair-pulling haha. Thank you so much for coming back here and letting me know it worked out. I'm happy to help. :)
Please don't hesitate to reach back out to us here in the Community with any other questions. Hope you have a wonderful week!
I do have another issue as a result of this now though. After uninstalling the Desktop Integration, we now cannot see "Service Items" in our Quickbooks Time apps or web app. It is a required field that we use from Quickbooks. Any idea why that would have gone away?

What if the Activate QB Time option does not show up after you have run the other steps?
Hi there, gretchenv.
Since your Activate QB Time option isn't showing up on the Enter Time screen in QuickBooks Desktop, I'd recommend using your Verify Data utility to see if anything needs to be rebuilt.
Here's how:
After verification's complete, you'll see one of a few possible messages. I've listed each of them and their meanings:
If it displays a "QuickBooks detected no problems with your data," notification, or you've searched our help articles and didn't find any existing resources about the specific error it displayed, you can move on to troubleshooting with our QuickBooks Tool Hub:
Please get back with me here and let me know if your Activate QB Time option displays after walking through these steps. I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you. Have a wonderful day!
Where is the QB time login?
Thanks for getting in touch with the Community, CharlesAiro.
When following K_Siman's steps, you'll be prompted to sign in to your QuickBooks Time account after going to Employees in the top menu bar, Enter Time, then Activate QB Time. Once you've entered your login details and proceeded, the syncing process will begin.
You'll additionally be able to find many detailed resources about using QuickBooks Time in our help article archives.
I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Enjoy the rest of your day!
WARNING: INTUIT HAS BROKEN QUICKBOOKS TIME.
I noticed today that QB Time has not synced properly for the last month. After calling support, I learned that in the past month (my estimate) that Intuit made an update that, for me, made QB Time inoperable. First, going forward, I have to ADD "Billable" as a required field for each of my clients individually. There apparently is no way to change this setting for all clients at once. Second, since the supposed update, QBO and QB Time have not been communicating, so I have to set to billable all my time entries since this update. There is a definite possibility that I have lost billable hours because of this update.
Intuit has only limited time to fix this issue before I find another vendor.
Hi. I followed these steps to get the Activate QB Time and it still isn't working... We've been trying for months to get this thing to activate! The guys just think I'm kidding now when I say we won't be using paper forever!
Good evening, @HaileyGale.
Thanks for chiming in and letting us know that these steps didn't work for you.
Since this is the case, I suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll be able to use other tools to closer into your account to see why this is occurring.
Use this link to locate the direct number so you're able to give them a call right away: Contact QuickBooks Time support.
Let me know how it goes. It's my priority that you're able to get this fixed as soon as possible. Have a wonderful day!
Imagine that! QuickBooks took over TSheets and now it doesn't work and if you get the "work around" web connector it still isn't as easy and straight forward as it was when it was TSheets. QuickBooks is awful and you're lucky if you can ever get someone to help!
My quickbooks activate time is not popping up when I do these steps. It has not been able to sync for about a month now, and I have called support and spent nearly 3 hours trying to fix it with them, which did not happen. I am almost at a point that I will be cancelling service if this does not get resolved as the entire point of paying for this service was to eliminate the need to manually enter individual employees time.
Good morning, @JessicaL1972.
Thanks for joining in on this thread. Let's work together and get this problem handled.
Let's clarify a few things before going forward and digging deeper into this issue:
After getting this information together and replying back to me, I'll be able to determine the best solution for your business. Just tap the Reply button when you're ready. I'll be right around the corner!
Apparently my image will not attach. It says QB time cannot be connected with the company and/or product you selected.
Good afternoon, @JessicaL1972.
Thanks for reaching back out and giving me that screenshot with extra details.
After doing some research with the information you gave, I've discovered that there's an ongoing investigation (INV-00254) about this problem. That means there are other users having this issue as well.
The best route to take is to get in touch with our Customer Support Team, give them the investigation number, and get added to a list of affected users through them. You can find a direct phone number for QuickBooks Time support through this link.
Please inform me on how it goes. It's my priority that you're able to get this taken care of today. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Have a wonderful rest of your week!
Thank you, @JessicaL1972. I spoke to the Customer Support Team on July 1, 2021. I am confirming your investigation #INV-00254. QB has still not resolved this critical issue. I will update this post whenever I get more info from QB. NOTE: QB Support gave me a workaround in July, which I would share with others, however it's no longer working either. When these critical functions stop working, businesses can't bill, and it prevents us from making money. With no solution in sight, we should pause and consider switching to an accounting system that works and is dedicated to resolving critical issues promptly.
I have the exact same problem and I have called the support line twice with no results. Can you help me?
Any update on this?
We were working for the most part until an Intuit update a little over a week ago. Now, we cannot reconnect.
I've called/chatted with both QB and QB Time. After about an hour, they both refer me to the other party. Not good.
I do not have the option to "Activate QuickBooks Time" under the Enter Time menu, have run the latest QB Tool Suite, rebooted. I came in on Sunday to try this while no one else was around so I wouldn't have to run others off... no go.
Chatted with QB help, they tried to again refer me to QB Time help.....
Can you say "perpetual loop?"

Hello @da bear,
I wish I could make it better and I hear you. I would like to thank you for sharing your experience and how you wanted to resolve this by trying some of the troubleshooting steps.
Since the issue is still unresolved, may I ask first what if the product you're trying to connect with QuickBooks Time? This way, I can help you figure out what is this issue all about and lead the way to the integration process.
Keep me updated in the comments. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care and stay safe!
Maybe third time is charm (this is my third time trying to respond to this?)
We are running QuickBooks 2021 Enterprise Desktop, having upgraded recently due to previous version losing support.
Thanks!
I went on Feature Add-Ons and did exactly what it stated to do - Select QBDesktop Integration and Install, and selected "Ok" and nothing happened. It didn't put it in my "uninstall" list. What now?
