Workforce App

My employees have updated to the new Workforce App but they are not seeing anywhere to view their paystubs on the app.  We have used the app since it was Tsheets, then Time and now Workforce.  I use QB Pro 2021 Desktop.  Do I need to click a button somewhere?

We are happy to see you with your first post in the Community space, @snazo1028. Thank you for using QuickBooks Workforce to view your paystubs and other info with your employees. We're here to share some troubleshooting steps to help fix the issue of the paystubs not showing on the workforce.

If your employees have trouble accessing the paycheck in the workforce, there are several reasons why they're unable to view their pay stubs in QuickBooks Workforce.

First, you switched or moved from one Intuit or QuickBooks payroll service to another. Next, you created a late or backdated paycheck. Lastly, you forgot to send the pay stubs to us. To learn more about it, please refer to this article: Troubleshoot missing pay stubs in QuickBooks Workforce. This link also includes the troubleshooting process to fix each scenario.

Additionally, please check the articles below for further details on managing QuickBooks Workforces:

I read the article called Troubleshoot missing pay stubs in Quickbooks Workforce.  It says "Make sure to send all paychecks created in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to Intuit."  But it doesn't say how to do that.

Let me help you with how to send all paychecks created in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to Intuit, snazo1028.

We appreciate you for reading the recommended article to troubleshoot the issue. To avoid missing paychecks in Workforce, we'll need to upload paychecks after each payroll so your employees can access them in QuickBooks Workforce. In January, you’ll also need to upload your W-2s. Here's how:

  1. After running payroll, select Send to Intuit on the Confirmation and Next Steps screen.
  2. On the Send/Receive Data window, select Send. When prompted, enter your payroll service PIN.

If you forget to select Send to Intuit after creating paychecks, you can go to Employees, then select Send Payroll Data. On the other hand, paychecks from January 2021 to current are automatically uploaded as you run your regular payroll.

Just manually upload paychecks prior to January 2021. To prevent errors, upload your previous paychecks after you've run any current payroll. Let me guide you on how:

  1. Go to File, then Print Forms, and then select Print Pay stubs.
  2. In the Select Pay Stubs window, change the date range in the Checks Dated fields to include pay stubs that you'd like to send to QuickBooks Workforce. We recommend selecting only current calendar year paychecks and uploading in batches of 100-200 paychecks at a time to prevent errors.
  3. Click Send Online.
  4. From the Send/Receive Data window, press Send All and enter your payroll PIN.

For more details about this, here's an article: Invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce to see pay stubs and W-2s if you use QuickBooks Deskto.... To have your employees view their paychecks and W-2, see this link: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.

I'm just a post away if you should have any questions concerning your QuickBooks Workforce, I'm always here to help. Hope you have a wonderful day.

I will try your suggestion but I am very confused by your sentence, "On the other hand, paychecks from January 2021 to current are automatically uploaded as you run your regular payroll."

That sentence infers that my paychecks are already being automatically uploaded and my employees should already be able to see them in Workforce???  Which they can not, that's why I wrote my original post.
