Hi there, @colonelgk. We understand your urgency to have this feature in QuickBooks Time. 

Considering that, I recommend submitting direct feedback to our Product Development Team to request this feature about setting up a time limit of when your employee can clock in and out in QuickBooks Time. Here's how: 

1. Hover your cursor to the Help tab beside the Bell icon and click it.
2. Select the Suggest Idea option.
   
3. Enter detailed information on your feature request in the Idea table.
4. Once done, click the Send Idea tab.
   

Moreover, if they see that this feature can improve our users' experience when managing their employees' clock-in and clock-out time, they can add it to our future product updates.

You might want to modify some of your team members' access to your QuickBooks Time account to ensure that accurate time data will show up before you approve them. Check out this article for more information: Change QuickBooks Workforce settings and permissions.

I thought it was. Why did they remove it?  I have a client with an employee who habitually punches in 30 minutes before his shift.  I wonder if the thinks we are going to miss it?

We shouldn't have to request this in feedback.  It was a feature before, should still be a feature now.  Please put it back.

I couldn't find the setting. When I chatted online they stated it wasn't a feature. It only makes sense to have this setting. Business owners need this setting, because no matter how many times you tell the employees to not clock in until 8:45 am...
