I have built and used assemblies for years. I created a new one, using shipping as an item because I have a per piece cost that needs to be accounted for. However, when I go to build assembly, the item shows no inventory even though there are 15,000 parts added from a vendor invoice?

I've rebuilt and repaired and I still cannot do a build.
Hi, skaminski.
There's an ongoing issue about the shortage report showing blank or incorrect amounts in QuickBooks. Our engineers are already working to get this fixed as soon as possible.
You can manually look over for the build assembly for the items that are short for the pending build.
I also recommend contacting our support team to add you to the notification list. Here's how to reach them:

Please keep me posted if you have further questions. I'll always be right here to help.
Try create a dummy file or open a sample one. If the same problem persists, you have to resintall QB. Otherwise, your data file may be damaged. Contact and ask Intuit Data Service to fix it, or consider purchasing a 3rd party file repair service.
