Balance Sheet Report

Hello.

I am trying to run a Balance Sheet report comparing last month to the previous one (ex: Feb 2023 to Jan 2023). And, if possible, to add a change column.  This report is available in other countries (please find attached report run in Brazil). However I can´t find a way to run this report in the US Version. Can someone please help me? Thanks

Balance Sheet Report

I can tell you the reason why the Balance Sheet report on your account isn't showing the same interface when customizing it, FCbruno.

Thank you for the screenshot. With this, I can see that you're currently subscribed to QuickBooks Online Simple Start. Let's verify the plan by following the steps I've outlined below.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Billing & Subscription tab.
  3. The first box will tell you the current plan you're subscribed to.

You can enjoy the features when customizing the report by upgrading QuickBooks. Check out the available pricing plans to see which subscription level is right for you.

When you're ready, I can walk you through the steps in upgrading the subscription.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙,then Account and settings.
  3. Proceed to the Billing & subscription tab.
  4. Make sure your payment info is up to date.
  5. From the QuickBooks Online section, click Upgrade your plan.
  6. Review the available plans and then select Choose plan.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your plan.

I'm adding this article in case you need to downgrade or switch back to the previous version: Learn how to manage your QuickBooks plan to add more or have fewer accounting features.

I'm still around to back you up if you need additional tips while customizing reports in QuickBooks. Assistance is a reply away.

Balance Sheet Report

Hi there, @FCbruno.

If the report you're trying to pull up is Balance Sheet Comparison, it's available on all the versions in QuickBooks Online US. To further check why it's not showing on your end, we can perform some troubleshooting steps by logging in via incognito mode or a private window. This way, it confirms if the cache is the cause.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once you log in, try to look for the report again. Here's how:

  1. In the left menu, click Report.
  2. Select the Standard tab.
  3. Type in Balance Sheet Comparison on the search field.
  4. Set the necessary filters.
  5. Click Run report.

To know more about the reports available for your version of QBO, see this article: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

In case you want to personalize your report based on your needs, here's a great resource you can check for guidance on what to do: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

If there's anything else I can do to help, feel free to post here anytime. Thanks again and have a lovely!

Balance Sheet Report

Thank you. But the report is still the same. Note that there is not available option for comparing "last month to privious month". Also, there is option to include a "difference column".

Thanks
