I’m really glad to hear that my colleague, @Nicole_N, was able to address your concern about budgeting option in QuickBooks Self-Employed. While this feature isn’t available in QBSE, we appreciate your understanding.
Since, this is only available QBO you may consider upgrading to QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced. This is a great option for users who require more extensive financial planning features.
