Please know that the Budget feature is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This version is designed primarily to help individuals track income and expenses easily.

In your case, you might consider upgrading to QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced. It offers extensive features, including budgeting tools that can help you plan and track your finances effectively.

I’m really glad to hear that my colleague, @Nicole_N, was able to address your concern about budgeting option in QuickBooks Self-Employed. While this feature isn’t available in QBSE, we appreciate your understanding.

Since, this is only available QBO you may consider upgrading to QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced. This is a great option for users who require more extensive financial planning features.
