Can I add Sub-accounts in Enterprise Desktop 2019

Hi,

Is there a way to add sub-accounts to certain Chart of Account accounts with Quickbooks Enterprise 2019?

 

I found directions for Quickbooks online, but I do not use that and the instructions do not follow the desktop software.

I would like example:

Account

      sub-account

             sub-sub-account

 

I think you catch my meaning

Can I add Sub-accounts in Enterprise Desktop 2019

We can definitely do it in QuickBooks Enterprise, Max Sales.

 

The Chart of Account is already set up and customized for you. But if you need new accounts/subaccounts to breakdown the transaction into greater detail, we can always add more. I’ll show you how:

 

  1. Select Lists from the top menu bar, then go to the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the Account drop-down menu at the bottom, then choose New to create the first subaccount.
  3. Select an account type, then click Continue.
  4. Enter the account details, then select the Subaccount of checkbox.
  5. From the drop-down, choose the parent account and click Save & Close.
  6. Select the Account drop-down menu again, then click New to create the second subaccount.
  7. Enter the account details, then select the Subaccount of checkbox.
  8. From the drop-down, choose the subaccount you've created earlier.
  9. Click Save & Close to complete the process.

You can also organize and keep track of your finances by consolidating transactions and removing duplicate accounts.
