For example, if I have one shampoo of one size, but I sell it wholesale and retail. In QB Online I've made 2 separate products for the 2 pricing/tax options. However, it's only one SKU. So if I get 1000 of them for inventory, all I can do is assign 500 to one "product" and 500 to the other. Over time, one number will deplete before the other, and I ether have a product going into a negative, or I have to "move" inventory from one item to the other to keep the total correct and in the positive. This is an accounting issue when I am getting "inventory shrinkage" balances. Help!

Thank you! This beta must not have been an option when I first started using QB online, so I'm glad I asked now after all these years of failed inventory tracking LOL.
As another option, consider having an inventory maangement app with B2B portal to manage multiple pricelist and integrate it with your QBO.
