Currently, the Purchase Order feature is unavailable in the mobile app version. You can only enter the transaction by opening your QuickBooks using a browser.
Before entering the transaction, make sure to turn on the purchase order feature by following these steps:
1. Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
2. Select the Expenses tab.
3. In the Purchase orders section, select the pencil icon.
4. Turn on the Use purchase orders options.
5. If you want, enter up to three custom fields and a default message for vendors. These are optional.
6. Select Save and then Done.
Once done, you can now create a purchase order. I'll guide you how:
1. Select the +New button and select Purchase order.
2. Press the Vendor dropdown and choose the vendor.
3. Input the transaction date.
4. Enter the transaction details in the field boxes including the products or services.
5. Once done, click Save and Close.

I know how it would be beneficial to have the Purchase Order feature in QBO mobile app, and I'm here to help you clear things app.
Currently, we don't have an exact time frame for when this feature will be available in the mobile app. However, QuickBooks is ready to listen to you by submitting direct feedback to our Product Engineering team. Moreover, we also find this feature useful in creating Purchase Orders anywhere with your phone.
