I have another way how to show the payment history of invoices, Chris.
Statement will only show customers summaries of their invoices, payments, credits, and balances. You'll want to run the Transaction List by Customers report to provide detailed information about customers, suppliers, and expenses and will display the latest information on customers' and vendors' paid accounts that includes the previous payment history.
- Go to the Reports tab, then search for the report.
- Click Switch to classic view.
- Select the correct Report period.
- Hit Run report.
