Hi there, darin1.
I'm here with some insight to provide on your question regarding check customization in QuickBooks Online.
At this time, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't have the option to add a company logo/info to your checks. For more insight about this, I'm also including this article: How to add, customize, and troubleshoot logo on sales forms
I can see how adding a personal touch to those checks could help your business exemplify its style, so I'm sending a feature request up to our Product Development Team for review. They're constantly looking for great ideas from users, like yourself, when deciding how to enhance QuickBooks Online.
Please know you can always reach me here if there's anything else I can do for you, I want to ensure you're taken care of properly. Thanks for coming to the Community and take care.
PLEASE ADD CHECK LOGO FEATURE TO QUICKBOOKS ONLINE. I HAD THE OPTION IN DESKTOP, BUT LOST THE FEATURE WHEN I SWITCHED TO THE ONLINE VERSION! IT MAKES MY CHECKS LOOK MORE AUTHENTIC AND LEGITIMATE. PLEASE ADD ASAP!!!!!! YOU SHOULDN'T LOOSE FEATURES BUT GAIN FEATURES!
More customers are also requesting to have this feature added in QBO, SYNERGYPROPERTIESLLC.
QuickBooks Online is constantly evolving to make it more user friendly for our customers. The updates we roll out are always based on the ideas that our customers share. As mentioned by my colleague above, he'll send a feature request for this under your name.
I'd also encourage you to send the same suggestion, so our developers can collate the number of users requesting for this feature. You can share your thoughts about QBO on this site: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.
I appreciate your patience on this. Feel free to let me know if you need anything else.
I went to the site suggested and can't find anything about being able to give feedback about this particular subject. If there's a specific search term that needs to be used, please provide it. To not have the option to add your company logo to checks when it was available on the desktop version is absurd.

Hello, @rlarian.
I appreciate your feedback about the link shared by my colleague in this thread. However, this has been discontinued. You need not worry, QuickBooks work continuously to improve our software and provide you with the best possible product, services, and experiences. These updates will roll out are always based on the ideas that our customers share.
In the meantime, you can download the check and manually add the information you want outside QuickBooks. Here's how to download a check:
Once you have downloaded the check, you can check for a third-party app to add your company logo and other information. Also, I've added these articles to help you manage checks in QuickBooks:
Lastly, you can visit our QuickBooks Blog to be updated on the latest product releases and feature updates.
Swing by here if you have other questions, concerns, feedback about writing a check in QuickBooks. The Community and I are always here to help.
please don't ever think "you can download the check and manually add the information you want outside QuickBooks" is an acceptable solution for anything. It is insulting at best.
there is plenty that can be done outside of quickbooks. that is not a solution. that is the problem - that it has to be done outside of quickbooks.
the ability for this and a signature that existed in desktop, and years later, is still not available in quickbooks is a failure.
instead of spending time changing irrelevant things like renaming 'banking' to 'transactions', maybe spend some time fixing the shortcomings.
But then Intuit can't charge an arm and a leg for custom checks ordered through them.
This is a basic feature, that if not fixed is enough to make me switch to a new platform out of principal alone.
Where are you at with adding this feature? Has anyone had any luck with a work around?
@SEH2, it's nice to see you in the Community forum. Thank you for asking about your concern here in our thread.
I understand how convenient and beneficial for you to have a company logo on your vendor checks. However, at the moment, the option to add a company logo is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. I suggest providing feedback to our product engineers about this idea. They may add this feature in future product enhancements to make our program better and more efficient for you to use. Here's how:
Our Product Development team will use your insightful input to enhance your QBO experience. Check out this link if you want to track your feature requests: QuickBooks Online Feature Requests.
Additionally, you might want to buy checks that have been preprinted with your logo so that it appears when you print checks in QuickBooks Online.
A professionally created and displayed logo contributes in building the identity and brand of the business. Learn how to upload, alter, or remove logos from your invoices, estimates, or sales receipts in QuickBooks Online by reading this article: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.
Please let me know if you have further questions about managing your vendor checks or any QuickBooks-related concerns. It would be my pleasure to assist you with any details you need. Have a nice day, SEH2.
Hi, Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved? We just moved over from Desktop to online and the logo is missing from our checks..
Thanks in advance!
May 2023
Thanks for dropping by, @MariaMDA.
Please know that the option to add a company logo on your vendor checks is still unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
We recognize that each company has unique needs, and I can see how the feature you're looking for would benefit and empower your business. In the meantime, I recommend sending this request straight to our product engineers through feedback. This way, they can further review which parts of the program need enhancements and consider adding them to future updates.
To do so, you can follow the steps provided by my peer, @SirielJeaB above. If you want to get updates about the status of your feedback, you may visit the Customer Feedback page.
Furthermore, when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QBO, you may notice differences in how your books appear. Don’t worry, we’ll help you understand how your books were moved through this link: Learn how features and data move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate to leave a reply below if you have further concerns about using the product. We'll be right here to help you, @MariaMDA. Stay safe!
In other words, and to save anyone else from asking "Any updates on this?!", Intuit doesn't care about your ideas. I've ranted until I'm blue in the face using a variety of methods to communicate my ideas and it's always the same corporate vomit thrown in my face about the Quickbooks development team takes customer feedback and blah, blah, blah. Intuit doesn't care about any of us! They only made $10 billion in profits last year! How can anyone expect them to deliver improvements to their products with such lowly figures? Come on people; step up! You have to start donating more money to them on top of the blood ransom they charge in subscription costs for all of their products! Like paying taxes but hate doing it for free? Intuit to the rescue! Screw Intuit and anyone who pretends like they are a company of integrity and have any concern for what the consumer wants.
Years past from the first request for this feature. I'm sure there is a way to do it by now as quickbooks only advances. Please guide me through step by step how I can customize the checks.
Thanks!
Thanks for joining the thread, @WM280.
Although this feature hasn't been added yet in QuickBooks Online (QBO), I can suggest a couple of workarounds to customize checks and add your company logo.
As of posting, we can only choose the type of checks to print either Voucher or Standard in QBO. However, it's possible to add your customizations from the checks that you order from Intuit. Here's how:
If you choose to add your logo, here are the things to keep in mind:
Alternatively, if you want to add your customizations within QBO, consider finding a third-party app on the Find apps page. You can follow these steps:
Nevertheless, I understand that the software must accommodate various business needs. I'd still encourage sending your feedback to our Product Engineer to implement the check customization feature in future updates. You can also track feature requests through this link: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online. Here's how you can add your own feedback:
After customizing your checks, let me add this article as a reference in printing your checks in QBO: Print a check in QuickBooks Online.
We'll be here in the Community if you have further concerns about customizing or printing checks in QBO. We'll do our best to assist.
Thanks for your help, but I'm not satisfied with your response as I think we are paying enough for quickbooks & this feauture should be included in the plan...!
See; you have a valid point in theory WM280; QuickBooks does advance their offering but what they've done here instead of giving you the option to do what your looking to do here is they have conveniently found a way to sell you the option to buy checks from them and add your logo (with a nice fee of $10 for the setup!). Intuit, like the rest of corporate America has found and will continue to find ways to charge you fees for everything you either used to get included with the service or you could have done on your own (like adding a logo to your checks back in the QuickBooks desktop days). Want a nice looking customized invoice?! Screw you; pay us. Want to add a logo to your check?! Screw you; pay us. Intuit is no better than the mafia.
This is not our first brush of corporate Intuit squeezing every dollar we have, and it will for sure not be our last.
I refuse to give into buying branded checks from intuit, when it is absolutely an industry standard to be able to simply print your company details on check regardless if they were purchased through Intuit/Quickbooks or not. Especially if this was a featured that was already offered years in the past on desktop! It is a shame to disappoint your customers intentionally when you are already a 159.82 Billion dollar company.

I did find a workaround to print your company info on your blank checks. If you purchase blank vouchers via
Amazon or your local store, simple set up a file with Word or a PDF file with your company info and logo in the top corner where you want it to print and keep that file on your desktop for easy access.
When you are ready to print your checks, load them up in your printer and print out the company info first. Then load the now-branded checks back into your printer and print the check details, and that's it!
Sorry Inuit, but you can't fool everyone.
