Struggling to find out how to do what seems like a simple task. I have a customized report of purchase orders and one of the columns is "Other 1". How do I rename the column name on the report?

That changes it in the Purchase Order screen as well as on the printed purchase order, which I had already done. My problem is the column title on a report.
Thanks for getting back to us, @EdNewman.
Changing the Other name in the reports column is unavailable. As a workaround, you can export the report to Excel and rename it from there. Let me guide you how.

Once again QB fails at even the most basic tasks. Of all the columns which you might want to change the title of, "other" would seem to me to be the most likely. I tried to use Service Date initially for this field. Made more sense since we are storing dates, but the report does not allow you to add the service date field to the report. Counting the months until we switch away from QB.
3+ years later and there is still no way to change the label title in a custom report. Really, this should be the most simple fix and really make use of reporting efficient. I love the answer, export to excel and change it there. That is a 3-5 minute exercise each time you run the report, make the changes and reformat for printing, emailing. What a shame that QB does not listen to their customer needs. Last I checked we pay your salary!!
