Join nowWhen I set up my quickbooks a year ago, I'd never set up accounts before. I don't want to connect my bank accounts and haven't. I really just want a simple in and out tracking system with one account in and out and to be able to run a report based on the sales. For example: pork sales, beef sales, chicken sales, but still have all the "income" from these sales go into the "credit card" account I have set up for expenses.
Can anyone help? How do I change my accounts with existing income in them to this?

Please take note that you can only change the account for an item one at a time. Additionally, your past transactions will be automatically updated. If they're still not showing the new income account, you can follow the troubleshooting steps in this article: Change the account for a product/service item.
Additionally, here are some articles that you can read to help manage your products and services in QuickBooks Online:
I'm just a comment away if you need more help in accomplishing your other tasks. Have a great rest of the weekend.
Hi woodedvalleyacres,
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the issue in your income account last week. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
