Custom invoice template not being applied when printing and preview and sending to customers

This still isn't fixed.  I'm not sure why it's marked as solved because I'm having this problem and ran across this post searching for answers.  What is the ETA on fixing this?

Custom invoice template not being applied when printing and preview and sending to customers

Hi there, ______. Let me share some updates about this behavior.

I've checked our records and don't see any active investigations related to printing and previewing invoices with custom form templates. Since you're getting a similar experience while working with your entries, I strongly encourage you to contact our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the expertise to conduct a comprehensive examination and investigation into this matter.

To start:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Help menu.
  3. Click on Contact Us from the Search tab.
  4. Enter a short description of your concern.
  5. Choose a way to connect with support.

On the other hand, a thread gets marked as solved when a user designates a reply as an accepted solution for their issue. Nevertheless, this does not signify that this action indicates a resolution of all concerns.

For more tips, while tracking and printing your invoices in our system, you can run through the details from this article:

Custom invoice template not being applied when printing and preview and sending to customers

When I send to batch print 50% of the invoices are correct to the format I've chosen for 10 years now the other half is wrong. I've cleared my browser and followed the directs from the help email with no result's. This has to be a QuickBooks format error. I need this fixed now because I need to send 268 invoices for HOA dues this weekend. I cannot speak to a human to solve this problem only with this stupid automated system for no help. All this service crappy for $600 a year online!

I have the same issue. My customers are not receiving the invoice or it's an invoive that does not provide the template info.

I've got your back, Gossmike. I'll share what's causing the issue and guide you through the solutions, so you can get back to sending out those invoices without a hitch.

Below are the factors and solutions to ensure those invoices land in their inboxes.

  1. New Migration: If you've recently migrated data from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, reset your email address by navigating to the Account and settings section in QuickBooks.
  2. Spam/Junk Mail: Your invoices might end up in your customers' junk or spam folders. Ask them to check these folders and, if necessary, clear and re-enter your email address.
  3. Email Server Allow list: QuickBooks Online email server hostnames and IP addresses might not be included in your outgoing mail server allow list. If that's the case, please contact an IT expert to add these to the allow list.

For more detailed steps, refer to this article: Troubleshoot if customers aren't receiving emails from QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, ensure to select the correct invoice template before sending it out.
