Customer List - Date Added

Is there a way to see when a customer was added to my database? I've looked at reports and have even added a custom date range to look at customer reports, but it keeps showing all of my customers instead of those added during the date range that I requested.

It seems that the database for customers would automatically log the date/time that the new customer was added.

Yes, viewing and filtering customers by their creation date is possible. I can assist you on how to do it.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. On the Sales and Customers section, open the Customer Contact List report.
  3. Click the small Gear icon in the report's upper right corner.
  4. Under the Change columns menu, check the Create Date box.
  5. Click Customize.
  6. Under the Filter dropdown menu, check the Created Date box.
  7. Select the dropdown button near All Dates.
  8. Choose the time frame that you prefer.
  9. Hit Run report.
