Expense Transactions are not showing up when I look at my expenses. However, they do show up when I run an account QuickReport. How can I view all my expenses?

All filter categories are set to All and the data range is set to include all expense dates.

Hi Yom Ice Cream

Thanks for visiting the Community. To view all your expense transactions, you can run the Transaction List by Date report. Then, use the filter to select the type of expenses that you want to show in the report.

Here's how:

  1. In the Reports pageenter Transaction List by Date in the Search field.
  2. Select the date in the Report period
  3. Click the Customize button, then select Filter.
  4. In the Transaction Type drop-down list, select all types of expenses (check, payment, expense, etc.) you'll want to view.
  5. Click Run report

Thank you for sharing that information, however it does not answer my question/solve my issue. I am trying to view expenses through the Expenses/Expense Transactions section and it will not show most of the expenses that have been entered over the past 10 days.

Good morning, @Yom Ice Cream.

I have a recommendation to try out for your issue of not seeing your expenses.

When you go into the Expense tab, let's filter the dates. Here's how:

  1. Click the Expense menu, and choose Expenses.
  2. Open the Filter drop-down button and change to the Last 365 days.

However, if you still find this is not pulling the expenses, I recommend clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache (cookies) to save you time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated or corrupted, causing issues like the one with your expenses. Clearing them out usually resolves these issues. Below I've included links for all supported browsers that contain steps for clearing cache.

If you still experiencing issues, feel free to reply to the thread. I'll be around to help you every step of the way. Enjoy your day!

Dates are already filtered to include everything possible. Cleared browsing data for all time and still have the same issue. Thanks for your suggestions.

Good work for doing the necessary troubleshooting steps, Yom Ice Cream.

I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support since you're still encountering the same issue. A chat or phone agent has more tools to take a better look at this and fix it. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Expense Transactions are not showing up when looking at the expenses page" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback

I'd also add this article on how to enter, edit, or delete expenses in QuickBooks Online for future reference.
