Join nowIf I merge vendors, the original vendor is completely gone - It does not get included in the results when I query QB with the quickbooks web connector even if I include inactive vendors. Is there anyway to get the original merged vendor, so that I can mark it as deleted in my database?
Good afternoon, @snussbaum.
Thanks for coming to the Community with your question. It's our priority that you're able to get this resolved as quickly as possible.
I see that you've asked the same question on another thread on this public platform. I recommend going back there and waiting for an answer. It shouldn't be long. My colleague is working on a solution for this situation. Keep an eye on that thread and you should get an answer within just a few minutes.
In the meantime, you can check out this article to help you and your business: Merge list entries.
Let me know how it goes. They should give you some details to fix the problem. Should you need any further insight, feel free to ask. I'm only a comment away if you need me. Take care!
No, there isn't a way. When you merge vendors or other list records, the record that is merged away is completely gone.
Merging basically 1) Updates all data everywhere that refers to the name that will be merged to use the ID of the name that will remain 2) Permanently deletes the now-unused name.
