Hi, @HoyHoy.
When exporting to Excel and creating a CSV file in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you're required to save the file in a specific location on your computer.
In the meantime, you can use the Create new worksheet in existing workbook option and then save it as a CSV file.
Moreover, we understand the significance of minimizing clicks and saving time to enhance workflow efficiency. To help improve your experience with QBDT, your valuable feedback will be shared with our product development team.
Here's how to send it:
- Go to the Help menu, then select Send Feedback Online.
- Choose Product Suggestion.
- Enter your recommendation or comments.
- Click Send Feedback, then Close Window.
I'll add a supplementary article that you can check out for more guidance in exporting reports to Excel from QBDT: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.
In case you need assistance in personalizing your reports, you can refer to this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
