Filtering a Balance Sheet by Class for specific class(es) works fine, it's only the comparative balance sheet. Transactions entered using the Write Checks tool or Make Deposit tool no longer show up in the bank activity once filtered.
Using QB Accountant Desktop. All transactions have a class assigned. Using QB to track multiple trusts (my classes) and some share a bank account.
Anyone have issues with this or better yet, know a solution?
Welcome to the Community, @keskes. I'm here to help you get past this issue.
This behavior where your bank account balance changes when filtering Comparative Balance Sheet by specific classed is often caused by damaged data. I recommend running the Verify/Rebuild tool to help us identify the most commonly known data issues within the file and resolves them.

Hi keskes,
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the Comparative Balance Sheet report concerns you had yesterday. Was it resolved?
Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
Katherine,
Thanks for the follow up. I ran the verify and rebuild like you said and the issue still exists. The comparative balance sheet, when filtered by class, still ignores transactions created from Make Deposit and Write Checks that are split to different classes. The report works fine until filtered, then I believe those transactions are considered Unclassified at that time.
