Frustrated! Why does Intuit introduce features to their customers then start "nickel and diming" us for said features? Melio is going away now.

This isn't the experience we want you to have, Dawn. However, incorporating new features can enhance your experience. I'm here to offer some insights on paying bills with QuickBooks online.

To begin with, QuickBooks Online (QBO) offers an Online Bill Pay feature, which can make paying bills easier and more efficient for you. This feature is designed to work seamlessly with QBO, allowing you to pay bills electronically within the platform, pay vendor bills directly from within QBO with ACH (bank transfer) or a paper check, and automatically record payment transactions accurately in QBO.

To get started, subscribing to Bill Pay is the best way to go. You can choose the offer that suits your needs best and automate your bill payments with ease.

I am currently using the Quickbooks Online Bill Pay features that are offered by Melio.  I have a small engineering firm and only pay bills with ACH payment thru QB to avoid the $1.50/transaction fee.  If a vendor is not willing to share their ACH information, I schedule a "paper check" through my bank's bill pay feature to save on the transaction fee.

What additional features do I gain by this change that is going to be implemented?  It seems you are just making me pay for something that was already included in my monthly subscription fee.  Please help me understand.

You can signup for a free and stand-alone Melio account as a workaround and integrate it with QBO.
