Hello, can you help us figure out how to change who emailed invoices come from when emailing directly to customers from QB? Lisa

I've got you covered, @lisa-workroom101. I'm here to provide some insights regarding adding email addresses when sending invoices in QuickBooks Online.

The email address "QuickBooks@notification.intuit.com" is used by QuickBooks Online to send your sales forms. It's set up this way to keep you informed about the progress of your invoices that have been sent out. When the sales transaction form has been read, sent, or paid, the program will notify you.

Currently, QBO does not allow you to change the sender. I'll send your suggestion along to our engineers. Know that our developers are constantly working to develop the product by adding features that can cope with your business needs.

On the other hand, I can see how helpful it would be to have the option to select your preferred email to be used when sending sales forms in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, you can use your Gmail address to send invoices.

Additionally, you can visit the Gmail address FAQ for more details about using Gmail address in QuickBooks Online as well as how to manage your invoices.

In case you'll want to customize your invoices, you can click here to add your personal touch.

Feel free to get back to me if you need more help with your invoice email address. I'll be around to help you. Have a good day!

Hello, can you help us figure out how to change who emailed invoices come from when emailing directly to customers from QB? Lisa

I have 2 vendors that use the [email address removed] and my address book thinks they come from only one vendor since I have this email associated with my first vendor to use it - so it looks like the email is coming from vendor #1 but sometimes is actually coming from  vendor #2. I cannot tell until I open it.  What if 50 vendors used this email to send notifications to me and they all look like they are coming from vendor #1 in my address book.  This approach doesn't seem to be a good one in my opinion.  Is there a way for vendors to customize the email address?

Good morning,

Has there been any updates in QuickBooks online regarding being able to customize the e-mail address that QuickBooks online sends from.  My customers are not opening the e-mails and as they do not recognize the e-mail address of quickbooks@notification.intuit.com and are reporting it as spam.

I'll share updates about customizing the e-mail address that QuickBooks sends, Vicki40.

Currently, it's not possible to customize the email address that QuickBooks uses for sending emails. However, you may link a Gmail address to QuickBooks, enabling QuickBooks Online to utilize your Gmail account for sending invoices to your customers. You can connect only one Gmail address, but the same Gmail address may be used for multiple QuickBooks accounts.

To connect your Gmail account to QuickBooks, follow these steps:

  1. Create an invoice or open an existing one.
  2. Once you fill out the necessary fields, select Save and Send to open the preview window.
  3. Select the From ▼ dropdown.
  4. Click Add Gmail address, then Connect Google account.
  5. Sign in to your Google account.
  6. Choose Allow. Your Gmail address now appears in the From field.

For detailed instructions, follow the steps in this article: Use your Gmail address to send invoices to QuickBooks Online.

I can see how the feature of email tracking can be beneficial for you and your business. That said, I recommend sending this request straight to our product engineers through feedback. Sharing features and options that you would like implemented is how our engineers look for new product updates.

To send feedback, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

You may also visit our Feedback forum page. From there, you'll see a list of QuickBooks users who also submitted feedback, as well as the recent updates in QuickBooks.

Additionally, I'll be adding these resources that will guide you in fixing emails that customers aren't receiving and how to record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online:

Hello, can you help us figure out how to change who emailed invoices come from when emailing directly to customers from QB? Lisa

forcing us to use [email address removed] is not for our own security, so stop it with that BS. Its your way of tracking everything we send out and our customers.

I DO NOT WANT TO USE [email address removed]

NOR DO I WANT TO USE GMAIL.

is this clear enough? I have my own business email for 20yrs and that is the one i need to use. i do not want to be associated with intuit nor do i trust intuit. so fix it.

Just another reason to dump this garbage software.
