How can I create a new Project for an existing customer using the QuickBooks mobile app?

Allow me to share with you some information on how you'll be able to create a new project for an existing customer in QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Currently, the option to create a project using your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app isn't yet available. This is because it's a simplified version of the actual QuickBooks Online software. Hence there are some limitations when using it.

As a workaround, you can log in to your QBO account using a web browser on your device. Then create a project from there. I'll guide you on how to do it:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Go to the Projects menu then click New Project.
3. Give your project a name.
4. Choose existing customers you’re working for from the drop-down menu.
5. You can add any notes or details about the project.
6. Hit Save to confirm.

On 08/31/2022 I received an email saying that QBO was raising prices.  If you can't get this very simple feature on your phone app then you should not be charging more money.  Having to drive back to my office to add a project is a waste of time and money.  Get it done QB.

I completely understand where you're coming from. Allow me to provide you a little information about the price increase in QuickBooks Online. 

Our price increases are in line with industry standards. The new pricing plans will reflect the needs of our clients better while allowing us to keep improving the service and developing new features. And we want to ensure that our customers will always have the most efficient software available to help them run their business.

We understand the importance of having option to create a project using your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app. Our product engineers are working diligently for updates and improvements on the features.  

For now, I encourage you to send feedback so our management team knows all customer's sentiments. Your suggestions and ideas will help us stay in tune with what our customers need, want, and expect. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
2. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Feedback under Profile.
4. Share your feedback.
5. Hit Next. 

As a workaround, you can follow my colleagues suggestion above to log in using web browser on your device to create a project.
