Hey there anabella. Customizing invoice forms inside of QuickBooks Online is nice and easy. Lucky for you as well, we have a nice and detailed article on everything you need to know about customizing invoices, estimates, and sales forms. The article contains a video if that's more your style as well.
If you want to get more in-depth with the customizations available it is possible to upload your own templates made outside of QuickBooks Online as well. Check out our guide on Importing Custom form styles so you can get a good understanding of the limitations and you can decide which option works best for you.
Be sure to come back if you need anything else, we're always happy to help in the QuickBooks Community.
Good Afternoon,
You did not answer my question. I know how to customize (Template, font size, whats included and not included in) my proposal. All i need to know is how to add more spacing between line items so my invoice wont be so clustered. The video you sent me does not have that answer.

Anabella - did you ever find out how to add double spacing to the invoice template without importing a custom template? I'm having trouble too and the chat people are no help...they don't seem to understand the question.
Hello, AP3782.
I appreciate sharing your experiences with our support. I'd like to clarify some things about adding spaces on an invoice without importing a custom template.
Currently, we're unable to add double spacing to the invoice template in QuickBooks.
We can only adjust the column widths on the line item table on an invoice.
I can see that adding spacing would make the invoice more readable and clean. In any case, I would recommend sending feedback to our developers to add the ability to adjust the spacing on your templates.
Simply click the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
Our developers will review your inputs for future improvements in QuickBooks Online.
And just to add, the ability to import custom template has been discontinued on June 29 of last year.
