Hi,
I signed up to GoPayment following your instructions, however, the SSN is an obligatory requirement. (see screenshot attached). What can I do in order to accept online payment with credit card without SNN?
Thanks
Welcome to the thread, @Purruno.
Allow me to clarify things out for you about signing up GoPayment and how QuickBooks Payments works.
With the mandate of IRS, it’s important to have a Taxpayer Identification Number or Social Security Number on file. However, since you don't have SSN, I recommend contacting our Merchant Services Team. They can guide and provide options on how to handle the specific situation you have.
See this article for the contact details: Contact Payments Support.

Thanks for joining this thread, @Cube1.
I'd like to take care of your concern myself. However, only our Payments Support team can provide options so you can set up successfully. They have the necessary tools to help you settle this task.
I recommend contacting them once more and share with them that you’re unable to proceed with the process. This way, they can look for the best course of action to get this completed.

Do you have EIN or ITIN?
I have EIN approved for my company. I don't have ITIN or SSN.
I have EIN approved for my company. I don't have ITIN or SSN.
so this Sync with QuickBooks Online and my customers will see the option to pay it from the invoice that i will be sending from Quickbooks right? how do i link this with my QB account?
As Per Melio - "In order to request payment via Melio, you would need to do so on Melio - and not through QBO. Bill Pay powered by Melio only syncs with the Expenses page and bills, it does not sync with Invoices."
Can you please tell me I can verify payments by using my Admin's SSN? instead of the Owner?
Will you accept the ITIN of an Owner if he does not have SSN?
Support team says you must have an SSN or you can not use direct deposit. I called yesterday and was on the phone for 2 hours and was told for desktop no SSN then you are not able to do use direct deposit. Sorry it is a Federal mandate. This mandate and problem was obviously not thought about.
I got the same answer yesterday for Desktop. No SSN then you can't use direct deposit for payroll either. I don't want to just add an SSN in order for payroll depositing to work just in case when the person goes to file their taxes they get a letter and fines from the IRS because they haven't reported this business they have. Yet don't have?! This mandate was obviously not thought through
I have the same problem except it’s for Quickbooks Payments and Go Payment. Just spent two hours on the phone and was hung up on 3 times by Quickbooks employees who don’t know what an ITIN is.
Are you running a B2B or B2C company?
I see a contrast in Quickbooks. We provide all the information during the registration phase. We enter our knowledge by relying on your narrative. Sometimes the information is not accepted, sometimes you do not like our business, unfortunately you do not accept payments with apology, but you can get dues in advance. I got a membership, but I did not get a result for days. I got a last answer. Unfortunately, we cannot make payments for you. A few possible causes. He says I sell or may be related to the type of service. Why don't you specify that when you register. For example, 40 characters in a box can only say write writing. You cannot say why we do not serve tourism or consultancy services. Is it the goal to buy a few dollars? In other words, when you sell membership, we don't care about what we sell, but you say this big lie while trying to activate payment. A pity, a world -famous company is deceiving people for a few dollars to sell Quickbooks membership. Authorities can contact me. I prove everything I say.
