Ideally, you should be able to restore the inactive account when putting a check mark on the Include inactive box. Since you don't have the Make active option, let's try some basic browser troubleshooting steps.
To begin, open your QuickBooks Online account in a private browser or Chrome's incognito window. This is a feature on the web which allows you to browse without storing any data history.
You can follow the shortcut key command below to start private browsing.
- For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.
Next, try to restore the inactive account again. If it works well, you'll need to go back to the main browser and clear its cache. This will boost the performance of your browser and the application.
