How do I print a check at my desk after entering a bill in QB?

Hello there. I've got some information that can help you print your checks in QuickBooks Online(QBO).

Yes, you can print a check using QBO. Please note that you can only print a bill if it's marked as paid. Right after that, the Print Later box will appear and that's when you'll have to tick it so that you'll be able to see your checks in the Print Check window.

Kindly follow these steps:

Step 1: Since you already created a bill, you'll have to mark it as paid to be able to tick the print later.

  1. Go to Expenses located in the left navigation panel, then click Bills.
  2. Select the transaction that you wanted to print but hasn't been marked as paid.
  3. Click Mark as paid under the Balance Due
  4. Tick the Print later

Step 2: You can now print your checks.

  1. Go to +New located at the top left corner.
  2. Under the Vendors column, click Print Checks.
  3. Tick the transaction that you wanted to print.
  4. Ensure that the Starting check no. field shouldn't be empty.
  5. Press Preview and print, and then select Print.
  6. You'll be routed to another tab where you can see the full view of your check.
  7. You'll be given an option where you can either download or print the check. Since you want to print it, click the Print icon and then Press Print

If you want to dig deeper into printing, you can check out these guides since it has a lot of information that can help you:

You may also want to manage your bills and bill payments as you track your bills and record the payments in QBO.

If you have further questions regarding printing or anything that you find confusing, feel free to comment below. I'm happy to help you print your checks. Have a great day and stay safe.
