To recover an accidentally deleted vendor, I suggest using the Audit Log. This way, you'll see the details needed to reinstate the deleted vendor. Then, manually re-enter their information and transactions.
To access the Audit Log:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Under Tools, select Audit Log.
- Choose the Filter drop-down menu.
- Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.
- Click Apply.
- Locate the vendor and click the View link under the History column.
- From there, you'll see the vendor's information and their transactions.
