How do I setup "customized email address" receipt forwarding for quickbooks self-employed?

I can guide you in setting that up, stevendirocco.

 

Since your previous email is no longer active, you'll have to get in touch with our technical supports. This way, we'll be able to unlink to your account. After that, you can now set up the updated email address to forward receipts from. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then choose Receipt forwarding.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to set up your email.
  4. Review the Your receipts must be sent from field.
  5. Tick the Email me when QuickBooks receives a receipt checkbox if you want to know when QuickBooks starts scanning your receipts.
  6. When you're finished, click Done.

My email address hasn't changed and the email in the "Receipt Forwarding" is correct.

 

This error message indicates Intuit broke something: "Customized email addresses are replacing  [email address removed] and your receipt wasn’t received"

Since you're unable to email receipts due to an email address issue, I recommend contacting our Technical Support. They can investigate this further and can provide additional fixes.


Check out our business hours first so you’ll be assisted immediately. Then follow the steps below to reach out:

 

  1. Select the Assistant menu.
  2. Type in “Talk to a human.”
  3. Enter your brief concern in the field.
  4. Select I still need a human.
  5. Choose away to connect with our representatives.
