We're unable to add the description/memo column in the Sales by Product Summary report. While, in the Detail report, you're unable to add the Gross profit and margin. This is in both the Online and Desktop versions. You may want to export both reports to excel, then combine them. This way, you'll get the information you need. I'll show you how.
Here's how to export a report in the Online version:
- Open the Summary or Detail report.
- Click the Export icon, then select Export to Excel.
Then, here's how to export in the QuickBooks Desktop version:
- Pull up the Summary or Detail report.
- Click Excel, then select Create New Worksheet.
- Select Create new worksheet, then click in new workbook.
- Click Export.
Both versions allow you to customize the report you generate. I'll share the articles for more information:
