You can export your item list in QuickBooks Desktop as an Excel or CSV file. Then, import it to your QuickBooks Online account using the Import Data option.
Before diving in, please take note that the product name, product type, quantity, and quantity as of date are required if you're importing inventory. If you're uploading services or non-inventory items, the name of the item is the only required field. Thank you. I also want to pull in the preferred vendor for the items as well as the cost and the price for each SKU. Can that all be done at the same time? I was going to put in the initial inventory as 0 for all of them and update later. Is that ok? If it is- can you please send me the instructions for updating inventory at a later date. Thanks
