How long does it take for a paid invoice to be deposited?

I'd like to share some information regarding how QuickBooks Payments deposits work in QuickBooks Online, userstevehowes.

The deposit speed would depend on the service you're using and the type of payment. In addition, if you're a new user, we'll deposit your first set of payments within 5 business days.

The first deposits take a bit longer since we're setting up and finalizing your merchant account. Rest assured, they will be deposited much faster after we're done.

You can go to your Payments section in QuickBooks Online and check your current deposit speed from there. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the upper right corner and choose Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

To learn more on how QuickBooks Payments handles your deposit and funds, I'd recommend checking out this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

If you haven't received the funds on the allocated time, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Payments Support so they can help check the status of your payments.

The following pointers are good references. These will provide you steps on where you can access your statements as well as how to change your default deposit account:

If I can be of additional assistance while working in QuickBooks, please don't hesitate to tag me in the comment section. I'm always ready to lend you a hand.
