How to avoid "I am not a robot"

Hello there, mkelly-miradorll.

We value your time and your business. I'd be glad to share some insights about the robot page in QuickBooks Online.

The robot page/CAPTCHA is based on the browser. If you log in to your account to a different browser, a robot page and a verification code will be asked.

Also, you will be asked for a verification code if the browser is set to “do not remember history”.

Since the CAPTCHA is from your internet browsers, I recommend reading this article to know more about how to remove robot page/CAPTCHA verification in your browser: How to Remove Captcha-Verification.systems Pop-ups [Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge]

Don't hesitate to post again or leave a comment if you have any follow-up questions. We're always here to help.

How to avoid "I am not a robot"

Hello!

I am unable to link my BMO-bank account to my QB-account.  Spent a couple of hours again on 7/1/22 with tech support. Still getting stuck on window "verifying that I am human", but there is no CAPTCHA visible to click on. Strange thing is I have (and still can) link this bank account to my other QB account (from which I have unsubscribed, as my accountant wanted me use an account she shares with her clients. THIS latter account is the one I am unable to link to my checking account) I have tried all the browser suggestions mentioned, to no avail.

Apparently it has been forwarded to software engineers. Have not heard back, but is eagerly awaiting a resolution.

Thanks

Here is the screenshot of my account from which I unsubscribed, showing that I can connect to my BMO account.  WHY Can't the other (active one from my accountant) work?

Thanks

I can only imagine the hurdle you've been through in fixing the issue connecting your bank account to QuickBooks, @JHB67. Let me help you sort things out.

Issues like getting stuck on the Captcha page when setting up a bank connection can be a result of too much historical data stored in your browser. I suggest performing some basic troubleshooting steps to check if you're having a browser-related issue.

Start by accessing your QuickBooks Online company using an incognito page.

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If you're able to connect your bank account with ease, then you'll have to clear your regular browser cache.

If the issue persists, I recommend using other supported browsers. This helps avoid unusual browser behavior moving forward.

Otherwise, reach out to your bank so they can look into this further and give you a resolution if the problem happens to be with their system.

Here's an article I'll attach about handling bank transactions in QBO: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

How to avoid "I am not a robot"

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did all the things you mentioned, with a QB analyst on "Glance". I did incognito, I cleared cookies and history, and I have tried on Edge, Safari and Chrome.

I have already exhausted my bank's technical resources too.

As mentioned in my post, it must have something to do with how my QB accounts are setup:

Company A (personal QB account, but "unsubscribed"  because my accountant wanted  me to use her client QB subscription)...........had NO problem linking my BMO bank account to this one. Can click on RECAPTCHA

Company A (accountant subscription) Cannot link to my checking account due to invisible RECAPTCHA

Company B (accountant subscription) Cannot link to my checking account due to invisible RECAPTCHA
