How to change the company address that appears on the statements?

Hello there, caren_nelson!

Let's go to Account and Settings, and get your company address updated:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings then, click the Company tab.
  3. Under the Customer facing address section, unclick the tickbox labeled as Same as Company address.

This will then change the address where customers contact you or send payments shown on sales forms. I've attached here a screenshot for your reference.

If you want to customize your sales forms, you can check this article: How to Customize Invoices and Other Transaction Forms in QuickBooks Online

Fill me in if you have any other concerns. Thank you.

How to change the company address that appears on the statements?

Thanks, @MaryAnn_E  but the issue is different.

Since this is a USA company but the head office is in Canada, QBO is not allowing to enter an address outside of the US, see attached screenshot.

Can not enter the Canadian province and can not enter the Canadian Postal code

I appreciate you for getting back to us, MM888.

The address on your account follows as to where your company is located. If its location is in Canada, you'll have to purchase QuickBooks Online for Canada.

This way, you can record your customer-facing address correctly.

How to change the company address that appears on the statements?

It's my priority to ensure you'll able to create statements with the details you need, @MBD_23. I'm here to share the steps and information about this.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the option to leave the company address blank when generating statements is unavailable. Also, you're unable to customize the details of this form in the program. To learn more, check out this article: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online.

As a workaround, you can download the statements to PDF and convert them to an editable file (example: Word document). Then, remove your company address there. Here's how:

  1. Select the +New menu and choose Statement.
  2. Next, choose the correct Statement TypeStatement Date, and the Recipient List.
  3. Once ready, click the Print or Preview button.
  4. Then, select the Download button and select Save.
  5. When done, convert it to an editable file using an online converter and remove your house address.

Once everything is set, you can now send it to your customer via email outside QBO.

While this feature is currently unavailable, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Developer to request the implementation of this function. They regularly review our customer's suggestions or comments and take into consideration adding this in future product updates. Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Next, select the Feedback option.
  3. From there, enter the details of your product comments, suggestions, and requests.
  4. Then, click Next to submit.

You can also visit our Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online website to track the suggestions you've submitted.

In case you need to make your sales forms more personalized based on your business identity, you can use this link as a reference to the process: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please reach out to me again if you have any other questions or concerns about modifying your customer statements. I'd be here to provide a prompt response to ensure your goal is met.
