How to view previous journal entries?

I'm glad to see you in the Community.

We can view your past journal entries by running the Journal report or opening the transaction page. I'd be delighted to guide you through the process.

Here's how:

  1. Tap the Plus icon in the upper left corner of your company and select Journal entry under Other.
  2. On the transaction page, choose the icon with a counterclockwise arrow in the top left corner and click View More.
  3. In the Search screen, tap the Date Filter drop-down and enter the correct From and To date in the field box.
  4. Press the Apply button for the changes to take effect.

To build the report:

  1. Go to the Reports menu on the left panel and type Journal in the search bar.
  2. Set the desired reporting date from the Report period drop-down.je.png

See the following article for details on how to customize and filter the report according to your needs: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

I've included these links in case you want to save the report settings and print it:

If you need further assistance pulling up other reports or have other QuickBooks concerns, leave a comment below and tag my name. I'm always ready to respond to them. Enjoy the rest of the day.
