I currently use self-employed, sole proprietor LLC but am growing with clients as well as contractors and wondering if I should continue using the self-employed?

Is it worth me moving from the self-employed version to another version of Quickbooks? And if so, will it transfer to TurboTax the same way helping me complete the Schedule C/Self Employed tax sections?

Congrats on your growing business, crystal32.

Though QuickBooks and Turbotax are both Intuit products, they have different tax preparation and filing process. In addition to the accounting features of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, it allows you to prepare and file employee and payroll related taxes.

Quickbooks data can only be imported from a desktop version into TurboTax Business. If you have a plan to subscribe to QuickBooks Online, it needs to be exported to QuickBooks Desktop before it can be imported into TurboTax. You can use the free trial of QuickBooks Desktop.
