I'll make sure that your customer can pay the remaining balance, Jimmy1963.

There are times that the payment link of the electronic invoice becomes corrupted because of the accumulated cache. These temporary files can also block the connection to our online services.

To isolate the issue, have your customer open the invoice through a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save site data, cache, and cookies. Check out the shortcut keys below:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome
  • Press Command + Shift + N for Safari

Once done, click the Review and pay button again. If she's able to pay the invoice without any issues, she'll have to close the incognito window then go back to her regular browser. Next, clear the cache to remove the accumulated junk files and improve the program performance.

She can also switch to other supported browsers as an alternative solution. However, if the issue persists, you can resend the electronic invoice to your customer.

I'm also adding these articles to help manage and track your customer payments in QuickBooks:

Hi Jimmy1963,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the issue in your online invoices. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
