When I enter decimal hours (200.92) into the quantity field, it saves correctly in the invoice form. When I preview or print the invoice, the quantity converts to 200:55. How do I change the quantity format so that the invoice preview/print is exactly what I entered?
If I enter 200.92 hours into the quantity field, when I print/preview the invoice, it converts it to 200:55. How do I set the quantity format so that it shows the decimal value of 200.92?
I can share some insights about how invoices work, Accounting-User2020.
Currently, we're unable to show it as a decimal format. If the hours you've entered in the invoice are from a timesheet, the program will automatically convert the amount from decimal format to hours & minutes format.
Please know that this only applies when printing an invoice. We can still view the decimal value in the Invoice page. If the hours is from a product/service item, the program won't convert it when we print the invoice.
With QuickBooks Online, we can also personalize your sales forms so that customers will recognize your brand.
