I'd like to help you put the quantity column back, Pentamil.

It's possible that the column is unchecked on the template. Let's make sure it's checked. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Go to Custom Form Styles.
  3. Look for the invoice template, then click Edit.
  4. Go to the Content tab.
  5. Click the Pencil icon in the second section of template.
  6. Put a check mark in the Quantity box.
  7. Click Done.

I'm just here if you have further questions. Have a great day!

When I enter decimal hours (200.92) into the quantity field, it saves correctly in the invoice form. When I preview or print the invoice, the quantity converts to 200:55. How do I change the quantity format so that the invoice preview/print is exactly what I entered?

If I enter 200.92 hours into the quantity field, when I print/preview the invoice, it converts it to 200:55. How do I set the quantity format so that it shows the decimal value of 200.92?

I can share some insights about how invoices work, Accounting-User2020.

Currently, we're unable to show it as a decimal format. If the hours you've entered in the invoice are from a timesheet, the program will automatically convert the amount from decimal format to hours & minutes format.

Please know that this only applies when printing an invoice. We can still view the decimal value in the Invoice page. If the hours is from a product/service item, the program won't convert it when we print the invoice.

With QuickBooks Online, we can also personalize your sales forms so that customers will recognize your brand.

I'm just a post away if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions. Stay safe and have a great rest of the day.
