I noticed that Credit card payment option and bank transfer payment options are being turned on on all my new invoices. how can i turn those options off?

Also, for my recurring invoices, i noticed the bank transfer option was added. Just trying to figure out how to ensure those options are never turned on automatically as i prefer my clients to pay by check or ach.

I"m here to help you remove the credit card payment and bank transfer option in QuickBooks Online, @maria-jimenez.

You can temporarily turn off credit card processing. You just have to uncheck the option under Online payments on the invoice page when sending them to your customers.

In addition, you can eliminate the credit card option permanently by deleting it on the Account and Settings page. Take note that this method is applicable once your payments account is connected to QuickBooks.

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, choose the Account and Settings option.
  3. Go to the Payments menu.
  4. In the Payment Methods section, remove the credit card.

Furthermore, you can also delete the credit card payment through the Payment Methods page. In the credit card section, choose the Make inactive option under the Actions column.

Lastly, you can check when QuickBooks deposits your customer payments into your bank account. For more information, consider checking out this article:  Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Let me know how things go once you've tried the steps. I'll be on the lookout for your reply. Wishing you and your business continued success.
