Inventory not correct

Hi there, @GHW_Christine.

Do you mind filling me in on what's incorrect about your inventory? Values such as Income/Expense Accounts, Cost, Price and Quantity-on-Hand can all be updated from the Gear icon (⚙) > Products and Services > Edit on the item you need to change. Please feel free to leave a reply below with some more details so I can lend a helping hand. In the meantime, these resources are sure to get you started on the right track:

Using these guides, you'll have all the power of QuickBooks Online's Inventory systems at your fingertips. Thanks for reaching out, wishing you a safe and productive rest of your day.

Inventory not correct

My inventory on hand does not seem to change even though I invoice and get paid for a part.  Any ideas?

Inventory not correct

It's nice to have you in the thread, @steveschroeder1124. I can help with determining why the inventory on hand does not seem to be updating.

In an instance like this, I'd recommend running a Product QuickReport for the item to look at how the quantity is being adjusted. Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Click Products and Services.
  3. Select the drop-down triangle under the Action column for the item and click Run Report.

The following is a brief video to serve as a visual example:

From here you can see how the quantity is being tracked, with both additions and deductions. I'm also including an article on manually adjusting inventory: How to adjust inventory quantity on hand.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions on inventory or other topics related to QuickBooks Online. Have a good one.
