Join nowHello, is it possible to change the font and color of the default text in a template under send forms? I want part of the text to be bigger and in red compared to the rest of the text. I am currently using QuickBooks premier Desktop
Thank you
Hi Upackage,
We can change the font style and color of your form's Title, Company Name, Company Address, Labels, Data, Subtotals Label, and Total Label.
Let me guide you with these steps:
Also, if you want to change the color of the gridlines, you can select a color under Select Color Scheme and then click Apply Color Scheme.
You can check this reference for more information about the feature: Use and customize form templates.
I'll be around if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!
Adrian,
Thank you for the information, but what I would like to change the font and color to is the standard greeting that is set up under the send forms tab under preferences. Is there a way to do that?
Thank you

Hello there, Upackage.
We're unable to customize the font and color of the email body or greetings in the Send Forms window. This feedback is one way on how we can improve the system more. I've personally sent an email to our team and you can also send one on your end. Here's how:

Catherine B, thank you for the answer. I do have another question. Always before I could modify the default e-mail in the current email I am sending without going into preferences to change it. Now it lets me modify the email greeting but if actually sends whatever I have as the default. Why did this change and is there a way around it?
Thanks for your prompt reply, Upackage.
May I know what email provider is connected to your QuickBooks Desktop account? In the meantime, let's make sure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release.
Then, try to check if the email greeting reverts back to the default. If you're still getting the same result, we can do the Verify and Rebuild Data. This might be caused by a damaged company file.
You can follow the steps in this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
In case you need more help in completing other tasks in QuickBooks, you can check our guides here.
Please let me know how it goes. I'll be around to help you out some more. Stay safe!
Good morning, I use Microsoft Outlook
Thank you for getting back to us, Upackage.
At this time, I'd recommend reaching out to Microsoft Outlook support team so they can guide you on the alternative way to modify the email greeting without going to the Preferences menu.
In the meantime, you can use a different email provider so you can select your preferred body template of the transactions. Then, you can add it on your QuickBooks file.
You can use this reference as your guide: Connect your email to QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!
