There are no updates about the Attachments, @chris335.
I'm here to help ensure you can remove the attached file.
One of the possible reasons why the X option to remove the attachment is missing is that the browser you're using had a data issue. To verify, let's log in to your QBO account using a private browser. To do so, press this shortcut key on your keyboard:
Once logged in, go back and remove the attachment again to double-check. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.
Just in case you want to review all your sales and expense transactions in the future, you can run and customize some reports in QBO. For more guidance, feel free to read this article: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you, I have already run through incognito browser in chrome as well as through a different browser altogether (edge) with no success. It is occuring across all members of my org so it is not a cache or browser issue, though we have troubleshot these options. QB currently has a case open now.
Allow me to share a few information about the missing option for deleting attachments and guide you on what to do, chris335.
Yes, you're correct. There's an ongoing issue about not being able to delete an invoice attachment. Our engineers are working to get this fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can untick the box to not include the attachment when sending the transaction. I've added a screenshot for your visual guide:
Also, I recommend reaching out to our support team so they can include you in the list of affected users. To do this, follow the steps below:
Additionally, QuickBooks downloads the latest transactions automatically. It tries to match them with what you've already entered in QuickBooks. Please check out this article for your reference: Categorize And Match Online Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Please get back to us if there's anything else that you need help with with your attachments. Don't forget, we're always right here to make sure that everything is taken care of.
This started happening to me a couple weeks ago. Has the problem started back up again? I used to be able to delete invoices with no problem, but now there's no option for "more" > "delete".
I've submitted Feedback to the developers and it's been over a week.
Thanks for joining the thread, @njester. I'll help you to get rid of unwanted invoices inside your QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before doing so, may I ask if you're using the old or the new invoice layout? Know that if you're using the new invoice layout, the Delete option is in the Action button inside the invoice. However, to see the Action button. You'll need to save the invoice you created.
For visual reference, you can refer to the screenshot that I've attached below.
In addition, here's an article to help you manage invoice payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
I'd also recommend checking this page to learn more about modifying and personalizing sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to leave a comment below if you need further assistance with this, @njester. It'll be my pleasure to help you out again. Stay safe!
I see it now and that worked. Thank you. I'm using the same invoice layout I always have and it's always been on the bottom. Guess they moved it.
Thank you.
You're doing great, @njester. Thanks for getting back to the thread.
I'm happy to hear that my colleague, @Kurt_M was able to provide a solution for removing unwanted invoices from your QuickBooks Online (QBO).
