Invoices: is it possible to have expenses appear separately from time entries on an invoice?

FYI, I export my time from TeamWork.com (TW) to QuickBooks Online (QBO). although the time and expenses appear separately in TW, QBO merges the two by date, which looks bad because the units don't match (i.e., 1.5 hours versus 1 receipt for printer expenses).

Hey there, josephllc.

 

In QuickBooks Online, the time entries will show as one when you invoice them. For now, we're unable to separate them. Though, you can view the linked transactions (Please check screenshot). 

 

I suggest exploring our Intuit Developer Forum to check with other developers. They might come up with a process by developing a tool for it.
