Currently, we're unable to change an invoice to an estimate. Let's sign in to your company using two browsers. Open the invoice and manually copy the items. Then, paste them into the estimate.
This way, you’ll no longer have to enter every detail of the transaction. Once done, I suggest voiding the invoice to keep your records in order.
Here’s how:
1. Go to the Sales menu, then choose Invoices.
2. From the list, find the invoice you’re working on.
3. Hit the drop-down under the Action column to select Void.
4. Click Yes to confirm.
I've included an article you can use to handle estimates, like how to link them to invoices:
• Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online
• Create partial invoices from an estimate
Additionally, you can personalize your sales forms and information that will enhance your business brand, click these links for reference:
• Customize your invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online
• Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates
I got you covered if you have any other concerns. I'm always available to help. Have a lovely day!
Hi, @brindlewiring.
Hope you're doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about changing an invoice to the estimate you had yesterday. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I'd be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
