Last we we got a notice that there was an update for our QB. We did the update and today found out while doing payroll that since the update our memorized payroll reports no longer reflect what we need. The computer that has not been updated yet still has the reports right. is this a known issue?
@NinaRodriguez If it is not known, it should be; there were several topics lately about weirdness with reports, whether normal, memorized, or contributed.
I appreciate you for reaching out, Nina. Let's figure out what causes the problem by performing troubleshooting steps so you can achieve precise memorized payroll reports.
This isn't a normal scenario wherein users have inaccurate memorized payroll reports after updating QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to the latest. Yet, we need to determine what causes the problem as this only occurs in the recent update.
To begin with, let's verify your company data to check if this is a data issue in your company file and fix it:
Note: If you're using Assisted Payroll, you can contact Assisted Payroll Support before you rebuild your data.
After verifying, let's proceed with rebuilding your company file data:
To check for additional damage, let's verify the data again. Please follow Step 5 in this article if you find more damage and manually fix it: Verify and Rebuild Data in QBDT.
However, if the issue persists after following the troubleshooting steps, I suggest contacting our Live Support Team for real-time assistance. They have the tools and resources to conduct share-screen sessions and provide immediate solutions.
Moreover, here's an article you can refer to if you want to combine your financial reports from multiple QuickBooks Desktop company files so you can manage your financial data in one picture: Combine reports from multiple company files.
I want to ensure that everything runs smoothly after updating your enterprise version and it's our responsibility to assist you in any way possible. Let us know if you have other concerns and we'll be right here to lend a hand.
@CarlSJ RE: We haven't received any reports about users having inaccurate memorized payroll reports after updating QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to the latest.
You clearly haven't been paying attention. There are multiple threads on the community with many customers joining in saying their memorized reports are trashed after the latest update.
Yes- we are experiencing the same thing after the update.
Thanks for joining the Community and getting involved with this thread, Tcooper1.
Since you're also noticing memorized payroll reports not reflecting what your company needs, I'd recommend following the steps detailed in CarlSJ's post to troubleshoot with your Verify & Rebuild Data utilities.
If the problem continues, you can additionally troubleshoot with your QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Here's how:
You can learn more about using the QuickBooks Tool Hub in our Fix common problems & errors article.
If you've performed each troubleshooting process, but reports still aren't displaying what you need after updating, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any questions. Have an awesome Thursday!
Yes, it's a known issue (well, known to some anyway).

What? What is, "reports not reflecting what your company needs", supposed to mean?
The issue is that QuickBooks reports are broken. No amount of tool-hubbing or rebuilding will fix that.
You're wasting everyone's time offering such bad advise.
Intuit pushed a release bad release onto users. Intuit then pulled the release. Intuit is supposedly pushing a new release tomorrow. This is not new information. Why do I know this when you, the expert, don't?
