Let's get this working, gustavo6.
The missing PDF attachments to invoices can be fixed by making sure that the PDF Attached option is enabled from the Online delivery section of your Accounts and Settings. This way, the invoice PDF attachment will show up on your customer's email.
To do that:

Hi gustavo6,
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the missing PDF attachment to your invoice that you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
I keep doing the steps described in this post and it keeps "unchecking" I never know if it is attaching the PDF or not. Customers are getting frustrated because sometimes the invoice PDF is attached and some times it is not. Why will it not stay checked after I have saved it - MULTIPLE TIMES! I check this setting every morning now, but sometimes it "unchecks" in the middle of the day - no rhyme nor reason to it - SOOOO ANNOYING!
I understand your frustration and Please know that this isn’t the kind of service we want you to experience in attaching the PDF, Lisam-HFG.

I’m using the 2019 Mac version. I have had no issue attaching the PDF and emailing for years. Yesterday it stopped attaching. I don’t know how to resolve. I don’t seem to have a gear icon and so I can’t remedy with these steps. It said something about the email needing to be fixed as a prompt from QB?
Hi @CelticScott. I understand how beneficial it is to include PDF attachments when sending invoice emails.
I can share a few insights on how to keep your PDF attached when sending invoices again.
Usually, PDF attachments will be missing when your email gets disconnected from QuickBooks. In your case, I suggest checking and connecting it to track emails in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. That may be why you get about a prompt message in QuickBooks that the email needs to be fixed.
Once everything looks good, see if you can send the invoice with the PDF attached to the form.
In addition, let's ensure to update your QuickBooks for Mac 2019 to the latest release version. This helps fix common QuickBooks errors and issue like the inability to send an invoice as an email.
Here's how:

when I use the default it doesn’t attach still. My default is MAIL on Mac. As I said no issue with this until yesterday. Is there another way to reconnect the email?
Hi there, @CelticScott. Thanks for providing detailed information about what happens when emailing your forms.
There has been a reported issue about PDFs not attaching to sent emails in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, and our engineering team is currently investigating this behaviour. While they do, I suggest saving your Invoice as a PDF first, then manually attaching it to your email app before sending it.
I also suggest contacting our Customer Care Support team so they can add you to our notification list. Once more information becomes available, we'll email you.
To reach them, here's how:
