It's nice to know that you have attempted to use the Account Summary in the invoice template, @Deepak1967.

I'd be glad to provide different troubleshooting steps to fix your printing problem in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can print the payment details seamlessly.

Here are some things you can verify to make sure that essential details appear on your sales forms:

  • The columns in the sales forms are checked.
  • Ensure that the Check No, Date and other fields are filled out.

See the sample screenshots below for your reference:

Once confirmed and the issue persists, I'd recommend logging in to your account through an incognito window. Experiencing this kind of problem in QuickBooks is typically the result of outdated or corrupted cache files in your web browser. By doing this, we can see if it's browser-related.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  •  Control Option (Safari)
  •  Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

Once signed in, re-print the payment details to verify if it's performing well. If it works, return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on your keyboard to clear the cache

If the issue continues, I suggest you update, repair, or reinstall your Adobe Reader to get rid of the dilemma. For the complete steps, check out this link: Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.

Alternatively, you can run the Transaction List by Customer report. Then customize and print it from there. See the sample pictures underneath:

Allow me to chime in and help you get your desired information, @Deepak1967.

Adding the account summary will give your customers a snapshot of their recent transactions. In addition to the invoice balance, the summary gives them their current total account balance and all payments or credits since their last invoice.

Alternatively, you can give them their complete transaction history by giving them a Balance Forward statement.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Sales or Get paid & pay menu.
  2. Select the Customers tab.
  3. Find the customer on the list.
  4. In the action column, select the small arrow icon, then Create Statement.
  5. From the Statement Type drop-down menu, select Balance Forward.
  6. Enter the statement date, start date, and end date. Then, Apply.
  7. Select Print or preview or Save and send.

To add the details for each transaction in the statement:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab, then click the Edit icon in the Statements section.
  3. Select List each transaction including all detail lines.
  4. Select Save and Done
