Network Diagnostics failed on company file scan

Hi, I am getting two errors while scanning company files.

1. Folder containing company file is not writable.

2. Network diagnostics failed.

Please see the attached screenshot and help me to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

I’m here to help you fix these errors, @mraghuvanshi.

There are some reasons behind these errors. It can be the QuickBooks database server manager is outdated, or Windows Firewall prevents QuickBooks from accessing the ports needed to connect with the Internet.

First, make sure you run the same version of QuickBooks Database Server Manager as your QuickBooks. You can follow the steps below to verify its compatibility:

  1. Press Windows + R and type "Services.msc" in the Run box.
  2. Hit Enter to open the list of installed services.
  3. Locate QuickBooksDBXX and match the last two digits with your QuickBooks Desktop version.
  4. If you're having different versions of QuickBooks Database Server Manager, then install the appropriate version of the component to resolve the errors.

You can utilize QuickBooks File Doctor if the same things happen. This tool helps rectify company file data damage and network-related issues.
