One QBO working with two different currencies

Hi!  a question for you.
I have a SRD QBO (Suriname) and it possesses both checking and Savings Bank accounts. But at the same time I want to know if  both checking and Savings Bank accounts in Euro can work, I mean, could we work with these two different banking currencies in one Suriname QBO? Thanks.

Yes, you can set them to Euro currency. What we need to do first is turn on the multicurrency in QuickBooks Online. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. From the Advanced tab, select the edit (pencil icon) on the Currency section.
  3. Choose your Home Currency and check the Multicurrency box.
  4. Select Save and close.

Please note that you can't change the Home Currency once you save it. Then, add the checking and savings bank accounts and make sure to select Euro from the Currency drop-down. Check the detailed steps here if you need to connect your bank accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Also, please check these links. These will show you more info on how to use the multicurrency feature:

One QBO working with two different currencies

this is really USELESS.

this is the ONLY information your entire enormous website gives about multi-currency.

The problem is - turning on this feature doesn't mean that it works.  Even after you create and save down vendors with the correct foreign currency - your stupid system doesn't actually reflect that: it shows these vendors in the local currency instead.  AND THERE'S NO WAY TO FIX THAT.
