Are there problems with Quickbooks online not keeping the screen at the top?

Whenever I am in the Vendor screen, the screen automatically jumps all the way to the bottom of the transactions instead of leaving it close to the top where I'm viewing a posting.

Glad to have you here in the Community, @cdelipetz-yahoo-.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to sort it out and get you back to working order.

There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing websites, like QuickBooks Online (QBO), to act weirdly. Let's try logging in to your QBO account using a private browser.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox
  • Press Command + Shift + N for Safari

If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh.

If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

I'm adding this article to learn more about how to view vendor transactions: View vendor transactions.

Let me know how it goes, I want to make sure this is taken care of. Thanks for dropping by, I'll be standing by for your response.

I am having the same problem. I tried going incognito; still same problem. QBO says not to use Safari, so I don't have a choice but to use Chrome. Work-around?

Hello there, skitownlady.

I appreciate for letting us know the steps you’ve performed to fix the issue and sharing the result.

We’ll have to identify the cause why the Vendor screen automatically jumps to the bottom of the transactions. It requires us to collate personal information to access your account.

Since the safety of your data is our priority, I recommend our QBO Care Team. They can perform in-depth troubleshooting in a secure environment.  Also, our agents will provide real-time solutions once the permanent fix is available.

  1. Hit the Help icon at the top to open the QB Assistant window.
  2. In the Assistant tab, enter the issue/topic in the field box.
  3. Press the Get help from a human link and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process.
  4. Choose Chat with us or Have us call you.

Let me share this article for future reference. It provides tips on how to boost the performance the overall performance of the program: Why is my QuickBooks Online slow?

Additionally, this guide contains resources to efficiently perform any tasks in your company. It’s arranged by topic so you can view each one easily: Self-help guide.

Keep in touch if you have any clarifications or other concerns. I’ll be around to help and make sure you’re taken care of. Have a good one.
